Parsons Consulting Engineers Ltd was engaged to deliver full structural design services for a major residential redevelopment involving two-storey extensions, bifold openings, a flat roof garden room, reconfigured dormers, and relocated staircases. The project required a comprehensive structural approach including site inspection, foundation design (strip and pad), steel and timber beam specifications, dormer roof and flat roof design, support detailing for second-floor joists, and internal alterations. Drawing from local geological knowledge, we provided cost-effective solutions tailored to the ground conditions and the complexities of multiple structural alterations across three floors. Our design ensures structural integrity while enabling the client's architectural vision.
