Parsons Consulting Engineers Ltd has been engaged to assess and upgrade a culverted watercourse crossing to accommodate HGV traffic. The project involves evaluating two structural solutions: full culvert replacement or the construction of a buried protection slab. Our role includes site investigation, consultation with the Internal Drainage Board, design of tender drawings, and site inspections during construction. The aim is to deliver a robust and practical crossing solution that ensures long-term performance under heavy vehicle loads.
