RAF Wittering - Building 431 Floor Slab

Parsons Consulting Engineers Ltd. is conducting a structural investigation of an existing building’s floor slab and foundation conditions to assess defects and plan remedial works. Three trial holes will be excavated at critical locations: an existing defect near central racking, a vehicle entry door where floor slope adjustments are needed, and a tent drying area affected by water infiltration. In-situ CBR tests will be performed to evaluate subbase strength. Additionally, a surveyed building plan will be provided, detailing access points, structural columns, and racking layout to assist in remediation planning.
