Parsons Consulting Engineers Ltd was appointed to carry out a comprehensive structural survey of a residential property featuring multiple historic extensions. The primary objective was to assess the suitability of the existing kitchen foundations for supporting a proposed first-floor extension. Our services included a full site inspection, foundation examination, and hand auger soil sampling as needed. A detailed structural report and supporting calculations were produced to inform the client’s design decisions. Where necessary, we also arranged for soil testing to provide further geotechnical insights. This assessment helped ensure the proposed development could proceed with confidence.
